Featherstone Castle is situated adjacent to the river South Tyne approximately 3 miles from the town of Haltwhistle, Northumberland. It is a Grade 1 listed building with parts dating back to the 14th century. It operates as a Conference Centre with hostel style self catered accommodation and is available for group bookings. It is also available as a venue for wedding receptions and other family type gatherings.

It is advised that new groups, who have not hired the Castle before, arrange for a visit to the Castle to see the function rooms and accommodation and to discuss your proposed event with the owner. We are pleased to announce that Featherstone Castle is be offering a self catered holiday cottage within the castle grounds.
This accommodates 6 people across

1 double bedroom with bunk bed
Futon available in the Living Room
We welcome well behaved dogs who are cat friendly!
We have 2 Haltwhistle and District Angling Association fishing permits available as part of the let. This covers water along the South Tyne (Salmon and sea trout) and a section of the River Irthing (Trout only).
